Refund policy
We want every journal you receive from Letters To Journal Company to feel meaningful, intentional, and made with care. Because each journal is printed on demand, our return policy is designed to honor that process while still supporting you if something goes wrong.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your journal arrives damaged, misprinted, or not the item you ordered, we will make it right.
Please email support@letterstojournal.com within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos of the damage or incorrect item
We’ll work with our production partner to send a replacement at no additional cost to you.
Made‑to‑Order Items
Each journal is created specifically for your order. Because of this, we’re unable to accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Buyer’s remorse
- Preference‑based returns (color, layout, size, etc.)
- Items that have been used or opened
- Non‑defective products
We appreciate your understanding — this policy helps us keep production sustainable and ensures every journal is made with intention.
Exchanges
If you’d like a different journal, you’re welcome to place a new order at any time. We’re unable to process exchanges for made‑to‑order items unless the original item arrived damaged or incorrect.
European Union 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Returned journals must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
